Privacy notice
This explains what we do with the details you give us. It applies to homeowners requesting quotes and to businesses listing on Barrow Trade.
What we collect
For a quote request: your name, email, optional phone number, postcode, job description, timeframe and budget range. For a business account: your business details and contact information.
Why we collect it
To pass your enquiry to matched tradespeople so they can quote. We only do this after you tick the consent box on the quote form. Marketing emails are separate and optional.
Who sees it
Up to three matched businesses, plus the Barrow Trade team. We never sell your details, and businesses only see enquiries sent to them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 24 months so we can handle disputes and quality checks, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, withdraw consent or have it deleted. Email privacy@barrowtrade.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the ICO.
